Store Accountant

Location: Highlands Ranch, CO

Employment Type: Full Time

Position Type: Salary

Pay Range: $63,000 – $73,000 per year

Job Summary: The Store Accountant is responsible for managing day to day accounting transactions; managing schedules; creating reports; and supporting the General Manager in the transparency in the Store’s financial matters.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile policy, and other cash accounts.

  • Research aged balances, assist with collection related to Factory Receivables.

  • Process gross profits report for the GMs on all vehicles sold, ensure all car deals are posted and process any GP adjustments per the GMs request.

  • Review store expenses, set-up accruals if necessary.

  • Prepare and submit weekly/ monthly reports, including Management Account Reports and submit to Controllers.

  • Responsible for training and assisting the billing specialist with their duties.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings, and any CPA requests. 

  • Support and assist the General Manager in the financial management of the store.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience.  Automotive preferred.

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.  BSC/BA preferred, not required.

Actual compensation will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, Paid Time Off policy, region- specific benefits.
