JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Our Parts Manager will assist in the delivery of an extraordinary client experience and is responsible for managing and maintaining departmental employees and all aspects of Parts department operations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Participate in operations/departmental planning.

Create annual budgets.

Reconcile daily parts invoices
-
Track the daily gross sales of the parts department.

Reconcile and report shortages and/or damage.
-
Reconcile parts/warranty return reports.
-
Accurately track lost sales on a daily basis.
-
Forecast and report on correct levels of inventory through lost sales, internal demand, and wholesale demand.

Possess a thorough knowledge of the parts wholesale business, with a track record of growing sales in this area.

Perform a physical inventory two times per year – Fall and Spring.

Have an advanced understanding of account management within the Parts Department.

Maintain an entrepreneurial mindset with all aspects of the Parts business.

Compile and analyze monthly management reports.

Maintain tight control over parts inventory in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.

Ensure the quality of customer service provided by parts department.

Coordinate parts marketing.
-
Calculate and submit monthly obsolescence reports.

Recruit and train new team members of departmental processes.
-
Responsible for continued development and training of departmental employees.

Provide regular coaching to employees, allow opportunity for feedback, correct poor behavior, follow performance management standards.

Practice safe work habits, and follow the company’s safety policies.
Education & Experience
-
Five years experience as a Parts Manager, is preferred.

4 year degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
-
The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase product knowledge should be evident.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.
-
Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
-
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Requires frequent reaching, bending, repetitive hand movements, twisting, standing, walking, sitting, squatting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.

Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Ability to work in extreme weather conditions in both summer and winter.

Regular, punctual attendance is required.
